Kowhai's eleven centres were sending parents paper diary notes about naps, meals, and activities, a process that was slow, easy to lose, and gave parents no visibility during the day.
Our approach

Built a native app where educators log naps, meals, and activities per child in under 30 seconds using preset quick-entry buttons
- 02
Gave parents a live-updating daily timeline for their own child, viewable without needing to wait for pickup
- 03
Added centre-wide announcements and closure notices, replacing a phone-tree call list
