Our approach

Built the adaptive quiz engine first, the actual differentiated IP, before any of the surrounding account or reporting features

Ran the MVP as a pilot inside three tutoring centers with real students rather than a synthetic demo

Added a simple director-facing report because that turned out to be the deciding factor in the second center's renewal decision
